Registrants may participate without limit in the group exercise classes listed below. If you register before the session begins or within the first half, it is full price. If you register anytime in the second half of the session it is half price. Monthly session fee for Members $15. Drop in fee is $5 per class except for Senior Classes which are FREE for YMCA Members.

Saturday, December 17; 9:30—11 am

Are you overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of the holidays? Take this opportunity to relax and renew your energy with our RELAX, RESTORE & RENEW YOGA experience. This event will take place at the YMCA and will include various restorative yoga stretches, relaxing and mindfulness and massage!  Jess Jeffcoat, Personal Trainer and Yoga instructor will lead the class. Take some time for yourself this holiday season.  Limited to 20 people.   $20/Members; $35/Non-members


4:30-5:30 pm on Tuesdays in December

Traditional Yoga focuses on Yang energy that targets heat, muscles and strength, while Yin Yoga targets flexibility, mental focus, and releasing stuck energy. Some Yin Yoga benefits are:  Balanced emotions, improve flexibility, stretch connective tissue, boost circulation, improve sleep, enhance mental focus, promote relaxation and   develop breath awareness.

BODY BLAST  with April

A tabata-style workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle while challenging the core. This class uses a variety of formats and equipment including barbell, resistance tubing, dumbbells and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. The workout will never be the same, so this class will keep you on your toes while keeping the mind and body equally engaged.

PILATES with Susan

Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every day activities.

AB BLAST  with April

A 30 minute core-focused class to improve on toning the abs and strengthening the back to improve posture and core strength. Standing functional core training is combined with floor ab exercises to give you a vital core strengthening experience.

YOGA with Debbie

An hour of Yoga poses to enhance strength, cardiovascular endurance and enhance flexibility as well as relieve stress and tension.  All fitness levels welcome.

SPIN with Katie

This indoor cycling class is a great cardio workout. Pedal through rolling hills, sprints and many other challenging drills.  All experience levels are welcome.

KIDDING AROUND YOGA with Debbie and Katie

Kids Yoga is a class involving music, games, crafts, and fun.  Kids learn about yoga poses and meditation while singing and dancing.

ZUMBA   with April

Ditch the workout and join the party! Classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring!

CORE AND MORE  with Susan

A one hour class that focuses on the core of your body by incorporating weight resistance with isometric strengthening. You will get a total body workout in a fun, energetic atmosphere.  A wide variety of exercise tools are used to keep the class challenging and exciting.

BLAST-I.T. with April

This class is a high intensity interval training workout which focuses on full body strength conditioning.  Get ready to push your limit.

B.L.A.S.T. with April

Burn, Lift, Aerobic, Strength, Training uses a variety of exercise equipment (bands, body bars, medicine balls, dumbbells) along with your body weight for a total-body workout. B.L.A.S.T. is designed to make you stronger while improving your balance, stability and toning the entire body. This class is sure to be FUN and inspiring while achieving a total-body workout.

GENTLE YOGA and YOGA FLOW with Jessica

Gentle Yoga is designed specifically for those new to yoga or those interested in gentle, slow-paced practice.  Yoga Flow is a sequence of poses linked together to move seamlessly with the breath. Stretch and strengthen the body by building on pose to evolve into a deeper, more challenging practice.  Private classes are also offered to interested individuals.  $28 Members; $40 Non-members


SilverSneakers group exercise classes offer you the best opportunity to stay on track toward your health and fitness goals. Our signature classes are designed specifically for older adults and taught by specially trained, certified instructors. You are sure to find a class that suits your needs and abilities. The SilverSneakers Fitness Classes are free for those who are members of SilverSneakers.

Silver Sneakers Classic (Beginner)

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support. Monday and Wednesday 10:30 – 11:15 am.

Senior Strength & Stability (Intermediate)

This class is designed to increase strength, balance, coordination, agility, endurance, and flexibility. Each class consists of a full body workout with the use of bands, hand weights, medicine balls, and your own body weight for resistance exercises. A stability ball and chair are also available if needed to perform each exercise seated. Each class also includes stretches for increased range of motion and movement exercises for balance and agility.
Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

SilverSneakers Yoga

Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation w ill promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
Fridays 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Senior Step Up (Advanced)

For the senior who needs a bit more of a challenge in their workout. Class includes cardio, strength and flexibility training all in a low-impact class.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Senior on the Ball (Intermediate)

For the senior who needs a bit more of a challenge. This class includes a variety of muscular strength and range of movement activities all done while seated on a stability ball. If you prefer, you may sit in a chair rather than on the ball.

Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.


Designed exclusively for older adults, Geri-FIT helps rebuild strength that’s been lost through the aging process for a higher level of function. Becoming stronger isn’t the only positive outcome.  Improvement in strength, balance, and functional capacity, an improvement in activities of daily living and a boost in mood.  Chairs, bands, and hand weights will be used in class.  Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:15 am—12:00 pm
