SUMMER DAY CAMP OPEN HOUSE & FAMILY DAY at Camp Coffman
Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 3-6 pm for some fun for the entire family at Camp Coffman, located at 4072 Camp Coffman Road in Cranberry, PA! The event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! We’ll offer arts & crafts, games, fishing, boating, archery, air rifle, concessions and tours. Kids can zip-line for $5.
AQUATIC EASTER EGG HUNT
Enjoy the tradition of Easter Egg Hunting with a twist on Sunday, April 5, 2020! Hop into our pool and collect as many eggs as you can. Eggs will be both floating and underwater. Collect your eggs and turn them in for a prize! Register from March 15-April 1, 2020. $5/members; $10/non-members. *Parent participation or swim test required.

STRONG TEENS – Available in March, April & May
Four week activity based program for teens age 12-15. Teens will work with our personal trainer to gain speed, increase strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Emphasis is on correct technique, appropriate exercise and progression. Limit 10 teens. Held Monday & Wednesday: 6:00—7:00 pm. Monthly Fee: 1 day/week: $10/Members; $20/Non-members; 2 days/week: $20/Members; $40/Non-members.
1st & 2nd GRADE BASKETBALL CLINIC
YMCA Basketball is a fundamental, participation based clinic for girls and boys in grades 1 & 2. Practices and games are held on Saturdays at the Y. Registration is required by March 27. Practices and games will begin on March 28 and will conclude on April 25. (No games on April 11.) Held March 28, April 4, 18, 25; $20/Members and $35/Non-members.
PRE-K & KINDERGARTEN BASKETBALL CLINIC
YMCA basketball is a fundamental, participation based clinic for boys and girls in pre-k (4-5) and kindergarten. Practices and games will be held Tuesdays at the YMCA. Registration is required by March 6. Practices are held from 5:00—5:45 and begin March 10 and conclude March 31. Held Tuesdays March 10, 17, 24, 31; $15 Members; $25/Non-members.
SPRING SOCCER CLINIC
The developmental Soccer Clinic is a great warm-up program before the summer soccer season. This fun program focuses on core values with instruction of basic soccer skills taught by YMCA staff and volunteers. The 4-week clinic will be held on Saturdays at the Clarion County Park. Register by May 29. Ages K-2. Must be age 4 by June 6. Held Saturdays 9:30—10:45 am; June 6, 13, 20 and 27.
BORN 2 RUN
This eight week running program is for ages 6-12 and meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm in April and May. The focus is on proper running technique, stretching, strengthening and conditioning. There will even be running competitions where kids can take home ribbons and medals. All runners receive t-shirts. Program meets at the Clarion County Park and the YMCA, with other possible locations TBA. Held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 pm—6:30 pm. $30/Members; $45/Non-members.
INDOOR FOOTER HOCKEY PROGRAM
Indoor Footer Hockey focuses on skills, drills and games with kids ages 6-9 years old. Two divisions will be formed: ages 6-7 and ages 8-9. Hockey meets at the Y on Friday nights from 6:00 pm—7:00 pm. Held April 24—May 29; 6:00 –7:00 pm. $27/Members; $37/Non-members.
INDOOR SOCCER CLINIC
Indoor Soccer focuses on fundamentals, skills and teamwork for kids ages 4—11. The five week program begins Saturday, May 2 and lasts until Saturday, May 30. Held May 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30. $25/Members; $35/Non-Members.
- Age 4-5 meets 8:30-9:30 am
- Age 6-7 meets 10:00—11:00 am
- Age 8-11 meets 11:30—12:30 pm
7th GRADE INITIATIVE – Begins January 2, 2020
The Clarion County YMCA will be offering free memberships to 7th Grade Students in 2020. Memberships will be free during the school year. To register, student must bring proof of grade level (school ID, class roster, report card) along with a parent or guardian. After registering, 7th grade students will have the opportunity to use the YMCA facilities to swim, play in the gym, or enjoy teen activities.
