CURRENT PROGRAMS

FLAG FOOTBALL—Register by August 30

Flag Football is a developmental, participation-based football program for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade.  Games are played Saturdays and practices are held one weeknight per week. All         participants receive t-shirts.  Teams will be announced the week of August 31. Registration is required by August 30.   Cost is $25 for Members and $45 for Non-Members.  $5 late reg. fee.

YMCA PUNT, PASS & KICK COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN

The Punt, Pass & Kick Competition will be held on SAT., SEPT. 28 at 3 pm at the Clarion  University Football Stadium.  Divisions ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade will compete in accuracy and distance competitions!    Trophies for the top 3 in each division.  Cost:  $5.

5th & 6th GRADE BASKETBALL PROGRAM

YMCA basketball is a fundamental, participation based program for boys and girls in 5th and 6th grade.         Practices and games will be held Saturdays at the YMCA. Registration is required by October 30.  Practices and games begin November 2.  All players receive t-shirts.  Held Saturdays, November 2, 9, 16, 23, December 7 and 14.$25/Members; $45/Non-members.  $5 late registration fee.

RIVERSHARKS COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM

The Riversharks are a competitive swim team that practice at Clarion University’s Tippin Natatorium Monday through Thursday from October through mid-February.  The Clarion County YMCA participates in the CENKEY Swim League.  Meets are held on Saturdays, December—February at pools in the league, with 2-3 home meets held in Clarion.      Swimmers are grouped by level.  Developmental Guppies and Minnows learn stroke technique.  Competitive Dolphins, Seals, and Sharks refine strokes and work on endurance and technique.
