At the Clarion County YMCA, we provide high quality affordable child care services for infants through age 12. We provide a family-centered, value-based program to help nurture the development of every child. Our YMCA Child Care Center is located on the lower level of the YMCA.
The YMCA has expanded to meet the needs of the community for affordable, quality Child Care. You can be assured that your children are receiving awesome care with our qualified child care staff.
Our Child Care hours are 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. We are state licensed and participate in Keystone Stars.
Financial help is available through Child Care Information Services at 814-764-5413.

Infant/Toddler Child Care
–Warm and nurturing care for your little one ages six weeks-three years. Formula, lunch and snacks provided. Staff/Child Ratio 1:4 infants, 1:5 young toddler, 1:6 toddlers. Infants: $177/week full time, $131/week part-time; Toddlers: $168/week full-time, $129/week part-time. Full-time children receive free YMCA Membership while enrolled.
Preschool Child Care
–Care and learning for children ages 3-5. Breakfast, lunch and snack provided daily. Preschool class and swim lesson included. 1:10 Staff/Child Ratio. $160/week full-time, $120/week part-time. Full-time Children receive free YMCA membership while enrolled.
Preschool Class
–We can help get your child ready for kindergarten and teach them to swim in Y preschool. This curriculum based program will allow your child to learn, grow and thrive! Three, four and five year old classes meet Mon., Wed., Fri. from 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. with a fee of $125 per month. Y Preschool follows the Clarion Area School District calendar during the school year. Swim lessons are held Monday. Gym class is held Friday. Snack is included.
Healthy Living
The Clarion County YMCA Child Care Center believes in healthy living through physical activity and nutritious meals.
The Clarion County YMCA has implemented standards to ensure children are provided with healthy meals and snacks along with adequate amounts of physical activity. The standards the YMCA is adopting will build a healthier future for children by providing environments rich in opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity for children in our care.
